Trips are fun, weddings are fun…..getting punched in the face while attempting to fix a friends tie is not. After travelling many thousand km’s, I finally arrived in Sydney and had the honor of carrying one of the fruit trays to the Brides house as one of the traditional things to do.
My tray had apples on it, and me trying cool, I said “apple” in vietnamese… trái bơm. With my accent and my non-fluent vietnamese dialect they had quite a shock followed by laughter when I said I had a tray of bomb.. “No bombs at a wedding” they told me. Big thanks to my brother who was photography #2 that day.
